Positive: We liked that the apartment was modern and well equipped. Antonella (the host) and Olga (the coordinator) were excellent at communicating everything we needed to know before and during our trip. We arrived late on the first night and were met by the host and coordinator. We asked about our food options and they were kind enough to pick up for us given restaurants would be closed by the time we arrived. The house had a generous supply of coffee, tea, snacks, fruits, breads and cheeses. Each day, we were able to enjoy coffee, snacks, limoncello & lemonade, thanks to those large lemons! It was a wonderful home away from home experience. The apartment is clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated in Amalfi coast vibes. It provided a nice home away from home experience and the multitude of friendly cats at our doorstep each day was lovely. The apartment has a wrap around balcony that goes around the entire apartment with access from each room. During our 7 day stay, we received two visits from Antonella and she was generous in making sure that all our needs were met. On the second visit, Antonella gave us some local goodbye presents. What a wonderful host, will definitely stay again when on the Amalfi coast!
Negative: While the climb up to the apartment had many stairs and there is no parking readily available, we were able to manage since we had other parking arrangements. That said, the apartment is well situated next to the stairs that go down to the town of Amalfi so that made up for it. Besides, climbing the steps was great exercise!
Summary: Great host, excellent location, lovely home away from home experience w/authentic Amalfi hospitality
