Summary: We had a fantastic four night stay at Valhalla B&B. Owners were very friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. B&B is directly opposite a taxi rank and Balloch train station (with direct services in to Glasgow every 30 mins). All local amenities are within walking distance including Balloch Castle Country Park, local shops, restaurants and of course, the Loch itself. We used the B&B as a base for exploring Loch Lomond National Park and found that even the most northernly parts of the Park were no more than an hour's drive away. Ben Lomond (Rowardennan car park) is about a 40 minute drive from the B&B for those who want to scale the mountain. Fantastic breakfast provided every day and plenty of street parking (or the drive if it's free) – all in all a great stay, would definitely stay here again.
