Summary: I made the mistake of booking this place for my last night in Mahé, thinking it would be great to be so close to the airport. It was mediocre at best. Pros: - large villa - close to the airport - the host is friendly Cons: - check-in routine non existent when booking through Hotels.com (I had to ask the neighbor who luckily knew where the key was. Beware to send the host an email BEFORE arriving as there is no reception) - barely any cleaning done (used towels are flying around all parts of the house, no trash is emptied, there is food in the fridge - the area is OK but not much to do or see and there is massive construction blocking the entire view - infested with lizards/geckos (more than any other place i've been in Mahé) - airport transfer is apparently dependent on the host's work schedule (I ended up having to walk to the airport. For 1 person it's okay, it is only about 500m, but for a family with small kids and luggage probably not) If you have the same plan I had, just stay in your accommodation and add 30 mins for buffer when transfering the next day.
