Positive: The property was really close to the canal, where walks in both directions and up to the black hill could be started. Pub within a few feet of the front door, which is open on certain days; when we went it was lively and full of locals chatting, but was never noisy.
Negative: Nothing really. All was good.
Summary: A comfortable cottage within a quiet village, right next to the church and very close to the canal.
