Positive: Cosy and clean comfortable accomodation. It had everything you could possibly need included. Appreciated the real coffee and cafetiere. The bed was super comfy. We slept so well. Beautiful view of the sea from the driveway. Good location for discovering Co Cork and the surrounding areas. Homemade granola, fudge and flapjacks was a lovely touch. We took them home for family as gifts as we are vegan.

Negative: The road the property is on is a fast road with no pavement and it seemed quite dangerous when we tried to walk into town, which is only a short walk away. There were no public footpaths/way to access the beach from the property even though it was very close. It was only a short 5 min drive, but would be a dangerous walk if no vehicle.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at the boathouse. It is the perfect base for discovering the beauty of the area
