Positive: We spent our 1 week holiday at Szep Balaton at the end of August. We really enjoyed our stay, the staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful, the place is kids/baby/family friendly. Our apartment/cottage was nice and cozy. The surroundings is beautiful, a lot of trees, greenery, very well taken care of, there is even a small bistro right in the area with very nice meals. The lake is right in the accommodation area but without a beach which we didn't mind because the closest beach was right next door and another one around 30 min by walk. The breakfast was very tasty, there was even a bottle of local delicious wine waiting for us in our acommodation at the beginning of our stay.
Negative: The only negative point I would give for a very thin wall which you share with your neighbour if you choose to stay in a smaller apartment, tv that was in the bedroom and not the livingroom so when our baby was sleeping already in the bedroom before we went to bed, we couldn't watch tv and the train tracks that are right outside the accommodation area which might be a bit disturbing for someone. But all in all the place was amazing as well as the staff, we definitely reccommend a holiday here. 😊
