Summary: The room did the job - but numerous issues. Missing some basic necessities like a bedside light. Had to use the public wifi from the bar downstairs which was choppy at best. The problems started right from the beginning. Check in according to the website was 10:00pm. But at 8:30pm I had a message saying I wouldn't be able to check in after 9 as the bar shuts at that point. I was on a train so unable to get there for that time, and somebody very kindly stayed to let me in, but they still contested the fact that their check in is stated as different. Some of the staff were quite dismissive, and felt unwilling to help. Finally, the walls are so paper thin I could hear everything from the room next door - whoever was staying next door was playing loud horror movies until the early hours, so it was impossible to get a decent night's sleep. Would recommend if it really is budget you need, but I definitely wouldn't recommend otherwise.
