Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: A large well appointed room, where the owners really have thought of everything. Real milk to go with one’s coffee or tea; much better than any UHT alternative. A box of household items that one normally would not take on holiday, but having them there was a bonus. The shower was powerful and easy to use. The choice and quality of breakfast, should you choose that option, was excellent. The hot tub was large, clean and welcoming after a long drive from Scotland. Ample parking and some nice walks right on the doorstep of the hotel.

Negative: There was a bit of noise from neighbouring rooms—fairly typical for most hotels—but light sleepers might want to pack earplugs just in case.

Summary: Well appointed comfortable hotel.
