Positive: Shimobe Hotel offers good value for money as the stay includes both dinner and breakfast. There are many onsen pools available, including both indoor and outdoor options, and the hot spring experience is very enjoyable and relaxing. The common areas and corridors to the rooms are beautifully and tastefully renovated, giving a very nice first impression. However, the room interior is a bit old and could benefit from maintenance or renovation. One highlight of the stay was definitely the free-flow beer after the onsen, which we especially loved and found very enjoyable.
