Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Excellent location. Very well equipped cottage. Wonderful cosy fire to come home to after our very wet walks! Lovely hot powerful shower, comfy beds and nice outdoor space if weather is on your side. Useful utility to store wet/muddy clothing. Lots of good local information provided at the cottage, helping to make the best of your time there.

Negative: A blind is needed in the bathroom otherwise it’s showering in the dark or with torchlight! A couple more toilet rolls would be appreciated. We had trouble getting the fire to light using the instructions but with a quick viewing of a YouTube video we were soon sorted.

Summary: Excellent holiday in a beautiful location, very convenient for everything Ambleside has to offer.
