One bedroom has a queen and a single bed. The other bedroom has a double bed that sleeps two people. It sleep five adults comfortably. There is a queen pull out sofa bed in the small living room that sleeps 2 more people, but the pull out sofa restricts the space.

The home is winterized and available year round. It is close to several beaches and is located along a scenic coastal drive on the Sunrise Trail. You may see rabbits and deer as it is surrounded by forest. There is a picnic table and a bbq to dine outside. It has a large wooden back deck. A beautiful ocean beach and waterfall are 2km away. It is a short drive to the Arisaig beach and lighthouse.

Summary: We liked the grounds. They were private, surrounded by trees. Adirondack chairs surrounding the fire pit were nice. The cottage was well-stocked with the basics (condiments, coffee, etc.). Communications from the property manager were complete, leaving us no surprises. All four of us thought that the cottage was good for our needs. A suggestion for an easy improvement would be more available closet space. There were adequate closets, but they were nearly full of items that probably belonged to the owner, something that wouldn't be expected for a rental property. We appreciated having a clothes washer and dryer. The washer was tricky to operate, but instructions were clear. It would also help to replace the outside steps to the cottage entrance. They were deteriorating.
