Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The room had everything we wanted. While it was very small, that was what we chose. The owner offered us, and even showed us, larger rooms. It is great that they offer many options at different price points. The building has a locked entrance door for added security, with plenty of lighting. The construction was relatively new, and everything was sparkling clean and worked perfectly, including the bathroom and kitchenette. WiFi worked perfectly. The owner is very accommodating and helpful.
Negative: The location, while just a 7-minute walk along the same street that the train station is on, can be loud with traffic and emergency vehicles, even at night. Some people don't care how loud they drive in the middle of the night. Even with the interior and exterior blinds closed, some light can come in; we wished the exterior blinds blocked more light. Within the room, a nightlight in the bathroom would be a welcome improvement, and maybe an extra towel rack. More onsite parking would be nice, but the owner makes every effort to help those with cars to find parking, and we were offered an onsite slot when one became available. None of these issues were big problems for us. We would gladly stay at this property again.
Summary: Clean, updated property, fantastic bathroom; within walking distance of train station and taxis.
