Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The apartment was well suited to our needs. The small spa set-up was an added bonus and unexpected.

Negative: Travelling in a country where you don't speak the local language is difficult enough. However, we needed help to get a taxi early on our day of departure and did not receive what we considered adequate help from our host. She provided a couple of numbers to call, but not speaking French made it impossible to organise our transport. We tried a neighbour who did the best they could to help. Unfortunately the taxi did not come the next morning and we had to scramble with our bags in tow to try and catch a bus. Frustrating and unnecessary as we just made our ferry connection to Dominica. The worst experience during our eight week tour from Australia.
