Positive: We stayed in this beautiful apartment for 2 months, and we were pleasantly surprised by how great our stay was. The owner and his family are incredible. They were extremely welcoming and friendly, and made us feel at home. They often brought us home cooked meals and treats, and we formed a great relationship with them. They provided us with everything we needed, but were always respectful of our space and privacy. The apartment itself is unbelievable for the price. We had a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and shower with hot water, a big bedroom with a new mattress and remote fans, a living room and study area, and a balcony. There is a separate entrance to the apartment, and privacy is well maintained. We were able to cook every night, and work every day in the study area. Everything is brand new in the apartment, and designed beautifully. We were amazed with how well everything was set out. The location is quiet and peaceful, and very close to the beach and main area by motorbike (7mins). The garden and trees were filled with birds and other wildlife, which was amazing to see from our window. The surrounding neighbours were friendly and happy to have us there. There is a menu to order food if you do not want to cook, and the mother makes delicious food! All of the meals are +-300Rps which is very cheap compared to other places, and very yummy! If we had stayed in Sri Lanka longer, we could easily live here for 6 months or a year. As two backpackers who are working online, our stay here was luxury. We would HIGHLY recommend this apartment.
