Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: A lovely property in the middle of the French countryside. We chose this place to stay as it had air conditioning throughout, a swimming pool with fresh water and a large enclosed garden for our pet cockapoo - we were not disappointed. The host, Jonathann, was very attentive, he communicated with us via WhatsApp and met us on arrival to show us the property and how everything worked. He also left us eggs, jam and cucumbers from his own garden next door. There were lots of local towns and villages to explore and if you wanted somewhere busier then it was a 20minute drive away. This was perfect for us as we wanted to unwind and relax on the drive down before our main holiday, in the sun, on the south coast.
Negative: There is nothing with respect to the property that we didn’t like - we are very easy going though. ——— Sadly the weather was not the best and we had odd periods of sunny hot weather, but most of the time it was slightly overcast and/or cooler. This meant that we didn’t really get to use the swimming pool or terrace to sunbathe as we had initially planned.
