Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Cozy, quiet, fairly modern, close to everything in Masbate City (shops 10 minutes on foot, airport even less, bus station maybe 20, short tricycle ride to the port). Very small, even for one person but I liked it. As a vegetarian, I was grateful to be able to cook my own meals, bottled water was provided free of charge. The owner communicates quickly and helpfully.
Negative: Maybe add some hooks for hanging clothes.
Summary: Good value room, ideal für single travellers
