Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The setting and the room were absolutely fabulous with a gorgeous view over the lake. Sunset and sunrise were amazing. The room was also very spacious and with a lovely decor.

Negative: The room is quite cold at night and extremely hot during the morning (due to the extensive surface in the roof covered in glass). At night we managed to stay warm in the bed as plenty of blankets were provided, but the heating did not comfortably heat up the whole room. As for the morning, we decided to leave to explore Puno as it was quite hot inside. Something else to be mentioned would be the toilets. As the room sits on the lake, the toilets are “dry” using a plastic bag that is changed every day. Not necessarily a problem per se, but just a warning if that is something you would not be comfortable with.
