Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Fantastic location with some really good views. Room was basic but the bed was comfortable. Balcony was good. Previous reviews about the bar next door being loud can be ignored, reasonable noise level all night. Lots of good seafront restaurants nearby.

Negative: Passports were taken for 3 hours upon check in to allow them to calculate tourist tax etc. Not keen on this as other hotels in the region have simply scanned the passport, possibly an upgrade to the system necessary. Quite expensive for what it is due to little to no seafront competition. No other complaints.

Summary: Pleasant stay, okay for starting the GR221. Quite expensive for what it is.
