Positive: Lovely view in rural area. Nice room. Use of shared verandah. Owners friendly.

Negative: The owners shared the kitchen and lounge area all the time as they lived there. Made it rather uncomfortable to cook a meal and sit and watch TV. The owner's work area (working remotely from home) was also in the loungeroom.
