Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location is beautiful- views all round, peaceful and ideal for staying with dogs. The dinners were exceptional- with local ingredients and adapted to our tastes. The staff were more than helpful and made our stay a delight.

Negative: Room was good, but unconvinced about the open bathroom/bedroom setup. As with all old buildings in the countryside in the Alentejo damp seems to be an issue-but the heating kept us toasty.

Summary: Perfect location for peace and quite, with extremely kind and attentive staff, and the dogs loved it
