Summary: This hotel is in very bad need of a full hotel renovation! The carpet is worn through in many spots in the hallways. The elevator threshold is full of dirt. It hasn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. The ice machine on my floor is covered in rust on the sides. The popcorn ceiling in my guest room is peeling off. The shower head in my room was mounted so high on the shower wall, the shower hits you in the face the moment you turn it on. The housekeeping staff is horrible. Not just in the guest rooms but throughout the hotel. The hotel is filthy. I had a Do Not Disturb card on my room door and the maid started knocking on my room door at 8:30 am and woke me up. I immediately complained by phone to the front desk. The maid got even by never cleaning my room. I stayed four nights at this hotel and the housekeeping staff never gave me fresh sheets. This is absolutely one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. My advice, if you are coming to Franklin, North Carolina you would be well served to find another hotel.
