Our roof terrace will be open from may to october, group policy: any reservation of 10 people or more per night will be considered a group with different terms and conditions. groups reservations can only be made through our reservations team, and generator reserves the right to cancel it otherwise, age restrictions: individuals under the age of 18 can only stay at the hostel when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in the same room. the room must be private. unaccompanied under 18's are not allowed to stay in shared rooms, unless they are part of a group that has booked out the entire shared room. the group leader must provide the required documentation to generator. failure to comply with these policies will result in automatic cancellation of the booking with no refund. guests violating these rules will not be permitted to check into the hostel, payment: the name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. for reservations made by a third party, you will need to complete an authorization form and present a copy of the person's id and credit card, pet policy: we would welcome a dog on property but only when staying in a private room, and subject to a fee per dog per stay. only dog under 75lbs./ 34kg, payment: for advance purchase rates/non refundable rates, we require the payment card used for booking to be presented upon check in, please note that our rooftop is closed for the winter, from october to april next year.guests are required to show a photo id and credit card upon check-in. please note that all special requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Positive: 24 hour security was really nice and considerably the " highlight " of generator they were prompt and always available 24/7 and took their jobs seriously which is admirable, the staff ( kitchen & the people working at the hotel were considerably great and outgoing as well, the issue is the state of the hotel and unfortunate circumstances of the upper management ? lmao what are we doing generator .

Negative: considering the " house rules " strictly do not allow for outside food or beverages on the premises i'd expect the hotel restaurant to have better variety / quality on offer for the price, it's no different to what you'd find at a dive bar in america with the relative ingredient quality from a children's arcade ( burgers , fries, wings & pizza with d grade salads ) unfortunately it's extremely underwhelming & the rooftop terrace wasn't available to guests either unless they bought something at the bar ( i don't drink alcohol ) and many tourists also snarked at the prices on the elevator ride down and decided to go for a cheaper alternative at a nearby bar, this isn't really a hostel but a hotel with " hostel " accommodations available, the staff at the bar / restaurant in my experience where very friendly and cool but unfortunate circumstances for the quality / policy decisions of the HOTEL. all in all the last time i go to generator in paris. i also booked a king sized ensuite just to find that the " king " sized mattress was just two twin sized beds squished together with one mattress hard as a rock and the other with flappy springs at €1,800 for a total stay* +*48 additional city tax they collect even after you paid them included in the booking through booking.com.

Summary: NOT WORTH THE MONEY, AIRBNB + BETTER HOTELS AT THE SAME PRICE OR LOWER IN THE AREA
