Positive: Very well-located apartment above a pharmacy and across the road from a well-stocked supermarket. The beach is across the road and about 10 minutes down the road is a fish shop and tavern. The apartment has a great balcony with awning for outdoor eating. The only thing missing were kitchen tea towels. The kitchen was otherwise well-equipped to cook meals. An easy to access, level parking spot is also available. The beach is lovely: sandy and clear. There is an hourly KTEL bus into Kavala (10 minutes) and out to Iraklitsa (10 minutes) for loukoumades.
Summary: Lovely stay, quiet and authentic.
