Positive: I have selected this particular place for two reasons. I wanted to get a bit of local vibe, not a standard apartment. And yes, this house on the outskirts of Marrakesh does have a Marocan charm to it and we did like it very much. We had a car so it was not a problem to drive in and out of Marrakesh to reach the place. The second reason why I have chosen this house were opinions about the host. And they were correct. We did not meet him in person, but we had a very good communication with him via whatsup. He explained everything to us and offered help during our stay in Marrakesh as well as for the rest of our journey in Morroco should we have any questions or problems. As for the house itself we liked the space, two separate bedrooms which had AC so we could actually heat them up, which is not an obvious thing in Morroco. There was a fire place that we could use and the wood was provided as well. The wifi was working well.
Negative: Well, it was cold. OK it was winter, yes the AC could heat up the bedrooms, but rest of the place was hard to bear. At the same time is was not possible to use the electric heater in the living area and AC in the bedrooms as the electric fuses would go out. It also happened when we put on elecrtic kettle, while AC was on. So I do recommend to the host to handle this issue. Unfortunately the fire place will not heat the house and it would simply be much nicer in the winter if it was a bit warmer inside. But on the other hand I realize that we went in the coldest period so if you travel during warmer times this will not be an issue.
