Positive: This is a cute apartment which has all the basics for a stay in Paris, you will have the equipment you need to make a basic breakfast or meal. The bed was comfortable and the apartment block was safe and secure. The apartment was clean and tidy throughout. The apartment is situated in an excellent location. Great metro links and easy to walk to the river, Notre Dame, Shakespeare and Co, the Panthéon and Jardin des Luxembourg. The market for buying fresh fruit and vegetables and a supermarket are just round the corner. There are two boulangaries close to the apartment, both very nice. There are a variety of crepieres, cafes and restaurants as well. For people who like Hemingway or Emily in Paris, their apartments are two streets away.

Negative: There is no bin only a bin bag, I couldn’t find any details for the WiFi. You will need to set up a potential payment for a security deposit after booking. This is not charged, only if you ruin the apartment will payment be taken. It’s not a problem and is easy to set up, however, it’s not mentioned on the booking page and initially was a bit of a shock. Not necessarily a negative, the apartment is in a very lively area. There will be music from the restaurant’s and live music at night, which was absolutely wonderful, I loved listening to the amazing saxophone player each night. However the music goes on until quite late as the restaurants are open until the early hours. Once the restaurants close cleaning of the area occurs with bin lorries and street sweepers (maintaining the beautiful area). The only really quiet times at night are between 2.30am and 5.30am. I sleep with noise cancelling headphones so this wasn’t too much of an issue for me, with the window closed there would be less noise. If you want a very quiet evening or have difficulty sleeping in noise this may not be the area for you.
