Positive: We loved staying at Casa Sofia (Sofia House). The house is modern, functional and comfortable. There is plenty of space around the house, which is ideal for those with children (which was our case). The house is located in a quiet area and the centre of Vila do Carvalhal is a 5-minute walk away. It takes about 10 minutes by car to get to the beach, but if you decide to walk, it will take a little longer. We really enjoyed our stay and the hosts were always available and quick to respond to our needs. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for everything Ana and Carlos.
Negative: We loved everything and have just one suggestion. At the back of the house there's a box with cleaning products, a broom, etc. The box in question was discovered by my 3-year-old twins and me when one of them came round with a broom. I therefore suggest installing a locker to prevent children from accessing the box.
