Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: An affordable, and cozy stay in the jungle with amenities. My husband and I arrived past check-in time due to gridlock in Panama City (leave early! Apparently this is normal). Brett didn't bat an eye and was very welcoming. He gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The hotel was walking distance to several restaurants, the market, bike rentals, etc. We had a rented car, but could have gotten around without issues by cab. We would recommend this place for your stay in El Valle.

Negative: The shower almost never got warm unfortunately. Bring earplugs because the birds can be very noisy in the morning and the nights can get very windy/noisy. It would have lovely to have a shared BBQ so we didn't need to eat out; although most local restaurants were yummy and affordable.
