Positive: Our stay on the island was pleasant, but I have a few things to say about the accommodations—both good and bad. Pros: - The location is convenient - It’s clean - It’s spacious - It’s fully equipped. Refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, etc. The kitchen is fully equipped. - Modern and fully functional appliances - Private parking for one car. A second parking spot is available for an additional fee. We were 8 people with 2 cars. For the second car, we found parking in the nearby public lots. - Spacious living room. - Terrace - Quiet area. - Free Wi-Fi.
Negative: Cons: - The accommodation has no heating. We were there in March and it was cold. We told the owner, and he said that until now they hadn’t needed heat because the winters or temperatures had been milder. He didn’t offer a solution. - The humidity is extremely high. There is a dehumidifier and it does its job, but it’s too small for the whole house. -Also because of the excessive humidity, the towels wouldn’t dry, and after a day or two they started to smell bad. -The electrical system is undersized. We turned on the dishwasher, the washing machine, and the dehumidifier at the same time, and the power went out in the entire building. The owner told us where to turn it back on. Somewhere in the basement there’s an electrical panel. This happened to us several times until we got used to how to run the appliances without tripping the circuit breaker. -The listing says there are 3 bathrooms, but only 2 appear in the photos. That’s because the third one is in the room upstairs. And when I say “in the room,” I mean literally in the room, with no dividing wall or anything like that. You lie in bed and watch whoever is taking a shower or using the toilet. Recommended for a long-term couple who don’t need privacy to use the bathroom, or for a single person.
