Positive: Actually we booked this but decided not to stay, so I'm not sure it's fair to do a review. I've listed the reasons we chose not to stay below. On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant area looked nice, right on the beach, shady and cool in the hot sun. Menu seemed quite good. We had a cold drink while revising our options.
Negative: Basically, much as others have said, it is very remote. Not visible from the road, and walking in to Porto Novo along the beach seems more like a leisure activity than a practical solution. It's an eco place so no air conditioning, the hut that we were shown on arrival seemed very warm, quite basic. Bathroom very basic Beach wild and windswept We had booked for a week but decided it wasn't right for us, we returned to São Vicente earlier than planned instead.
