Positive: The property is situated in a beautiful, tranquil location, literally a stone's throw from the Wollumboola Lake; yet it is a mere 3 minutes drive up to the Bowling Club, which offers a surprisingly wide range of good quality dishes. Woolworths, other shops and cafes are just across the road from the Club. Wildlife abounds - which included a view of about 50 black swans from our lounge room window! The facilities were very comprehensive and thoughtfully included items like sugar, a bottle of wine and a bar of chocolate.
Negative: Maybe there could be the option of using a little low-impact night light, as the toilet, shower and bathroom (all separate) are not next to the bedrooms and one has to negotiate the lounge furniture on one's way to use these facilities at night. One of the beds was a little firm for my wife's preference, though linen and towels were plentiful and clean.
Summary: Overall, we had a lovely and satisfying stay in a beautiful, quiet spot.
