Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Ideal location made it easy to walk into town or even access the carriage roads in Acadia NP on foot. The motel will loan walking sticks and seemed prepared to help guests make the most of their visit to Bar Harbor. Our stay in October was clean and quiet.
Negative: Everything was great, except there was a fragrance of some sort sprayed in the room. It was not unbearable, and thankfully, they did use unscented detergent for the bed linens. We left the door open for a bit to try to air out the space.
Summary: Great landing spot to explore Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park!
