Mi Casa, Su Casa is a large luxury home located on a dead end street, directly situated just steps from Lake Norman. Renovated in 2018, new painting & dining set in 2022, this rustic lodge is equipped with all the amenities you will need for the perfect family getaway (or weekend work retreat)!
Entering the property will take you on a scenic drive surrounded by lush trees, which creates an immediate sense of peacefulness and tranquility. As you approach the home on the long, hilly road, you begin your time away from chaos!
Upon entering, you'll step into what we like to call the Great Room, or the family room. Open and airy, it is designed with vaulted ceilings and large windows, allowing natural light to beam in while you gaze out at the exquisite views of Lake Norman. The room is dedicated to comfort, providing an array of large comfy couches for seating. The space provides anyone the opportunity to sit back and relax while enjoying a cup of tea by the fireplace. The Great Room is attached to the kitchen as part of the open concept design. No need to separate yourselves – there is room for everyone to congregate in this area. Our goal is to provide a spacious and comfortable home away from home.
The kitchen itself is well equipped with everything you need to cook, including an island countertop and bar stool seating for 6. This layout allows for those cooking to continue to enjoy the company of the rest of the guests. Directly next to the kitchen is a breakfast nook painted in soft tones and featuring windows trimmed with natural wood: the perfect place to sip a relaxing cup of coffee in the morning while watching the sunrise. Right off this open room is a large second story deck with outdoor dining for 12. After cooking a large dinner, invite everyone to gather outside and enjoy an exquisite feast with sunset views.
This Lake Norman home includes 5 bedrooms with 7 beds and a sleeper sofa, providing room for 12. Those lucky enough to stay in the master bedroom will not be disappointed. This bedroom includes a king bed and a private bathroom featuring his-and-her sinks, water closet, shower, and an antique style claw foot tub, as well as a private office for getting work out of the way!
Upstairs there are two bedrooms both with a queen bed and a shared hall bathroom. On the lower level there is another large bedroom off of the game room, with two queen beds and an en-suite bathroom- ideal rooms for the kids! Each room has a flat screen TV, giving guests time to separate and watch a movie. The bedrooms are lined with natural wood trim and open windows featuring views of the forest and lake. The rustic furniture of each room fits perfectly with the forest lodge feel of this vacation home.
Let's move into the game room! This luxurious room is well stocked for both kids and adults! Included is an old-school arcade game equipped with both PacMan and Donkey Kong – this is a perfect chance for parents to show their children their true skills. Additionally, in the game room is a large sitting area with a brand new queen sleeper sofa to sleep 2, a large screen TV, and a seating for 4 in the bar, be sure to add your name to the ceiling! Every seat in this room offers magnificent views of the lake right outside the doors.
Just outside is a wraparound lakeside porch, offering beautiful natural stone walls, multiple sitting areas, and a ping-pong table! The porch is covered, providing a place to relax outside without the sun beating down on you. The privacy of the home is best experienced in this sitting area – no one will be around except for those that you traveled with.
Take a dip to cool off, then return for a nap in the sun! The dock is situated in a quiet cove with only a few homes in sight. The breathtaking views will make you want to stay forever. Conveniently located on the dock are all of the fun lake toys which include: a kayak, a paddle board, and an assortment of life jackets.
Don't want to get splashed while the kids play in the water? No worries! This home also offers a large, grassy area between the home and the lake for sunbathing. Pull out your book and enjoy!
Take a few steps down the stone stairs through the manicured grounds and make your way to your very own private dock. This private dock offers space for boats/jet skis, swimming, and lounging. If you bring your own boat, there is room for storage on the dock. On the other side of the dock is a lounging area equipped with lounge chairs as well as the perfect area for swimming.
As long as you are stocked up on food, you could happily stay here for days. The comfort and amenities can keep you and your guests busy for hours. At the end of an exciting day, lay your head down in one of our high quality, comfortable beds.
