Built in 1915, this property has been around the block a few times. Recently renovated with beautiful bamboo hardwood flooring, vintage mid-century modern furniture, and brand new Sealy mattresses. The kitchen bridges the old world meets new world with a beautiful Maytag gas oven and stove top and stainless steel appliances.
Feel free to enjoy cocktails in the sitting room at the bar top, don't forget the liquor, or sit outside and enjoy the weather while sipping on your favorite beverage. Otherwise, sit back in the living room and watch your preferred movies/shows on the 65" Samsung TV (or your room).
There are three security cameras located outside facing the main exterior doors. One is in the carport and the other two are on the wrap around porch. They are scheduled to detect motion from 12AM-6AM when guests are staying and are armed 24/7 when the property is not booked.

Summary: We really enjoyed our 4-day stay at The Main w/ Mountain View. It's an older property that has been updated with modern amenities. We found it to be clean & comfy with room for all six (6) adults to spread out and relax. While there are plenty of nearby dining options, the modern kitchen and large dining room just begs to be used for home-cooked family meals. We took full advantage. The property offers covered (!) parking for up to three (3) vehicles. While we were there, we found time to explore nearby Davy Crockett Birthplace State Park, Historic Jonesborough, and the Gray Archeological Dig Site (Sabertooth tigers! Giant bears! Prehistoric elephants!). Erwin is a great homebase for exploring the Tri-City area. Our family really enjoyed staying at The Main and we think yours will too!
