A bird watchers paradise! This 1500 sq ft bayside home offers wonderful views of Galveston Bay and the wetlands for wildlife and bird viewing. Located in popular Terramar Beach Subdivision, it’s only a short drive to the beach. This home features a 42 in flat screen TV in the living room, hardwood floors and updated furniture throughout the home. The family friendly neighborhood offers a community swimming pool that you will have access to during your stay at Sandy Hook. Please note, the pool is open seasonally during the summer months. (May - September). After a day of fun in the sun, enjoy the downstairs area perfect for grilling dinner, entertaining or watching the beautiful Galveston sunsets. Dogs are welcome at Sandy Hook and require an additional $100 non-refundable fee per dog. There is a limit of two (2) dogs at a combined weight limit of 50lbs. Ground Level: Parking for 4 vehicles; No Garage Access; Outdoor Shower. Main Level: Large living area with 42” TV; Kitchen with dining area. Master Bedroom suite has a Queen bed with 32” TV and private Bathroom. Bedroom 2 with two (2) sets of Bunk Beds plus one Twin Trundle. Shared bathroom; Bedroom 3 with a Queen bed. Small covered deck with table & chairs and a second covered deck with great views of the wetlands and Galveston Bay. Location: 2 minutes to the beach; 18.3 mile drive to 61st Street; 21.4 mile drive to 25th & Strand; 17.5 miles to Moody Gardens/Schlitterbahn Waterpark. Notes: Although provided, WiFi access/Cable/Dish service can be unreliable here on the West End of Galveston Island.
