High in the Valencian Mountains, on the doorstep of the ancient El Surar Natural Park is an unspoiled classic Spanish village called Barx.
Here you’ll find our converted traditional townhouse, surrounded by stunning vistas of rugged mountains and lush green forest. We promise you the warmest of welcomes and the highest standards of comfort and service to be found anywhere on your journey.
At an altitude of around 600 meters above sea level, the outstanding 8000-hectare park provides panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, deep ravines and the coast at nearby towns of Gandia and Xeraco.
Barx Village is on the Route of the Monasteries of Valencia, an historic monumental and cultural tour that connects five monasteries located in the south of the Province of Valencia.
Cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and hikers, and beach loving families, choose this area year-round to recharge, relax and enjoy all that area has to offer. And it is our sincerest wish to offer a safe, luxurious and welcoming base for them to do just that.
