Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Clean room with well design interior/exterior layout. Ventilation with/wo fan is excellent. My unit is on ground floor with entry and rear view well separated from neighboring units. AC costs extra but is not needed in my opinion. Walking distance to black sand beach. Resort facilities are available but not useful for us.
Negative: 20-25 minutes of driving to nearby towns for restaurants or groceries. Since I am not using resort facilities, black sand beach and national park are my only reasons of staying.
Summary: A decent stay in-between HILO and KONA if you ever need one.
