Security deposit of 500 € by check will be requested on arrival (not cashed) and returned between 7 to 10 days after your departure.
If you wish to do the cleaning yourself, a cash deposit of 80 € will be requested on arrival. This sum (80 €) will be returned to you at the exit after verification.
LOCATION:
The property is located in Tamerville, in a very quiet little road, not overlooked, 2 minutes from Valognes (RN 13 trunk roads which connects Cherbourg - Caen).
It is very well placed and close to the main axes:
- 1 hour from Caen
- 3h30 from Paris
Tamerville is 15 minutes from the sea and the beautiful landing beaches, 15 minutes from St Vaast la Hougue (Tatihou Island, Vauban towers: Unesco world heritage, Gosselin delicatessen ...), 20 minutes from the port of Barfleur (elected 3rd most beautiful village in France).
Valognes is a pretty town nicknamed "le petit Versailles Normand", 15 minutes south of Cherbourg. Close to St Vaast la Hougue Barfleur, Barneville, Carteret on the other coast and La Hague. Perfect for visiting and strolling on foot or by bicycle.
DESCRIPTION OF THE GITE LA PETITE DUCKERIE:
This huge Norman property that La Clef Decamp offers you is made up of 5 separate lodgings, which you can rent together or individually. You will have no promiscuity and no neighbors.
The Little Duckerie can accommodate 2 or 4 people. It belongs to a pretty romantic house, adjoining another gite: the Grande Duckerie (it is possible to rent these 2 independent gites, to make only one entity). Each cottage has a private entrance with its parking, its own terrace and flower garden without vis-à-vis.
This former workshop, renovated with quality materials (natural stone on the floor, etc.) has been transformed into a luxurious and comfortable gîte.
On the ground floor, you will find a quality kitchen with induction hob, oven, microwave, Senseo pod coffee maker, blender, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, large fridge, an island central for 4 people.
The 40m² living room consists of a large sofa that can make a bed (accommodating 2 people), a grand piano (not tuned), an insert (Godin) and a large library. (Free broadband WiFi). A 127 cm LCD screen with Home cinema will occupy your winter evenings.
On the 1st floor, accessible by a helical staircase in wrought iron, is a room of 30m² (with a 160cm bed) composed of a glass roof overlooking the bathroom, a mahogany secretary, a large desk, a TV, as well as a chest of drawers for storing your things.
The bathroom has a large bathtub and a toilet.
Outside the house, you can enjoy a private terrace facing south, with garden table, 4 comfortable chairs, garden furniture, 2 deckchairs and a Weber charcoal barbecue. A 2nd garden is also present behind the house. The view overlooks a pasture with cows and sheep.
THE RELAXATION AREA:
The relaxation area awaits you 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. This room will be SHARED with the customers of the other lodgings if they also take this option. However, a bulletin board will allow you to reserve your desired time slots in order to privatize the SPA or the Sauna.
The space is composed:
- SPA (high-end massage whirlpool 6 people) covered by a pretty glass roof where it is very pleasant to bathe, protected from the rain with a view of the garden and the terrace.
- A walk-in shower, relaxation benches, a stereo and soothing lights at your disposal.
- An infrared sauna for 4 pers. (OPTION)
Entrance to the relaxation area is via an independent access.
GAME ROOM :
! If the Grande Duckerie gîte (neighboring gîte) is not reserved, you can access the games room including: table football, darts, ping-pong table. !
