Darling cabin located on almost an acre in historic Polebridge. Polebridge is surrounding by thousands of acres of state and national forests and only 1 mile from the NW entrance to Glacier Park at Polebridge. The North Fork Valley affords a taste of off-grid wilderness living with numerous hiking trials, alpine lakes and campgrounds. The mountain peaks of Glacier National Park rise majestically to the east of the cabin and are visible from the living area and large deck. You'll fall asleep listening to the breeze whispering through the aspen grove and the North Fork River flowing just down the street from the property. The West Glacier (Apgar) entrance to Glacier National Park is about 30 miles south of Polebridge, providing access to Lake McDonald and Going to the Sun Road.
The cabin has one bedroom, a sleeping loft with twin size beds, a bathroom with a commercial-size composing toilet and sink, and a living room/kitchen area. There is propane powered furnace, refrigerator, and range, along with a wood- burning stove and shed full of firewood. It is off the grid and has a small solar power system to charge your electronic devices. There is no phone to disturb your peace and quiet. STARLink internet is available upon request. Potable water is obtained from a hand pump located 10' from the cabin. Water is not plumbed into the cabin.
