Located near the famous St. George Cricket club and nestled comfortably in a seaside industrial area Castaway is no doubt in one the of best spots in Bermuda. Surprisingly peaceful you are close to the historical beginnings of Bermuda. There is a bus stop just a short walk to the main road that will take you into the City of Hamilton or into the town of St. Georges. There is a small convenience store, fast food chicken and fish restaurant just out to the main road.

Castaway is one of three units that make up The Getaway Apartments. This spacious one bedroom has accessible features offering comfort for the entire family. This unit and the two bedroom - Sail Away - has "Communicating Doors" giving the option to cater to a larger group or family sleeping 10 in total.
Once you arrive you will walk up the ramp that wraps around to the patio boasting beautiful unobstructed ocean views. Enter through the wide glass door taking you into the galley kitchen fitted with stainless steel appliances and lots of cabinet space for longer stays.
To the left in the open plan living and dining area. There is a sliding door allowing access back onto the patio for outdoor dining or lounging on a beautiful summer day. There is a large couch that is also a sleeper sofa for additional guests.
The tastefully and nautically themed bedroom features a comfortable king sized bed with a wardrobe for putting your clothes.
The bathroom has been designed to be accessible. The walk-in shower has no boarder for easy access, the sink and toilet level has been adjusted for a comfortable height.
We have chargers for electric vehicles. Or you can rent scooter or electric bicycles from in the town square. We are close by a ferry stop that operates in the summer months taking you to Dockyard on the western end of the island Our concierge will update you on all other transportation information like bus schedules, ferry schedules and taxi arrangements.
The communicating doors are secured with no access from either side if both units are rented separately. We will only open the doors and provide keys if both units are rented by the same group.
