Summary: We stayed here for my mother 60th in a group of 16 adults and 3 kids. The property is beautiful, great pool, great privacy. The staff were all lovely and kind however they couldn’t speak any English, luckily a member of our group could speak French so that helped but it should be advertised that the staff cannot speak English as it would have been very difficult for us otherwise. Otherwise the staff were very welcome to our food suggestions and made a huge effort for every meal. There was loads of space for everybody, the AC however needed to be better throughout the property especially the main dining room and living room. The car that was supplied to us also have very insufficient AC it barely worked and was quite uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi in the villa is also not up to scratch, we could barely use it in some areas despite the extensions. We were told it was because of the location. The villa is advertised as having showers however they were handheld showers, and couple of them didn’t work properly in some of the rooms. The newer rooms have a walk in shower but in the main villa they are all handheld so not very comfortable. We also had to wait for a whole day for one of the newer rooms to open up because of some sort of miscommunation but we were not kept in the loop. The spa service provided is not up to scratch to be honest, I recommend going to one of the lovely hotels with a spa. Overall they did listen to all of our concerns at the end, we were told if we had mentioned them during our stay they could have helped further. The property is stunning it could just do with a few updates. We did overall have a lovely time.
