Summary: The kettle in the room was broken. I asked for a replacement and never got one. They do not leave a sheet with the extension numbers you might need. I got a hold of room service and asked for a copy of the menu, never got it. It was almost like they were hoping I’d forget I asked for things. Room service apparently also stops at 4 PM. The receptionists were unusually and irrationally hostile; they also kept repeatedly asking my friend and I what rooms we were in every time they would see us, like they were suspicious or something (we did not do anything suspicious). The bathroom had no hair dryer and no toothpaste or toothbrush like most hotels would have. The bathtub design was also really physically uncomfortable and I would have to lean back to even fit my body under the shower. The water flow was very weak and sporadic, but warm so that was something. It’s a beautiful historic hotel, the aesthetics are gorgeous and location is great. Unfortunately I felt like the service quality ruined that experience.
