Welcome to our Dahlonega Mountain Hideaway. Nestled on a hillside with a serene, year-round mountain view, this dog-friendly (pet fee applies*) home is the perfect spot for those wanting to tour Dahlonega's many wineries (3 wineries within 3 miles).
Upon entering from the peaceful screened porch, you will say "hello" to cathedral ceilings and a wood-burning fireplace with wood-stove insert. The living room TV comes equipped with DISH. On the main floor features both a king bed & queenbed. The upstairs suite has its own deck expansive bathroom with a soaking tub, and a queen bed.
The 30' long main floor deck features a grilling and lounging area, so you can enjoy the views with your morning coffee or evening wine.
The downstairs apartment is rented by a long-term tenant. They park in the lower parking area pictured.
Property Notes:
- The last section of road is gravel but well-maintained. The driveway is paved.
- We are dog-friendly (pet fee applies). Please inquire before booking if your dog exceeds 20 pounds.
- The oversized chair in the upstairs common area is a pull-out twin bed for additional sleeping.
- We have a pack 'n play available for those traveling with little ones.
- We have a Ring doorbell at the entry, but no other cameras.
- The yard is shared access with the downstairs tenant. Please keep your dog on a leash.
- During certain times of the year, motorcyclists enjoy the mountain roads. During the day, guests can hear the motorcycles as they run nearby.

Important things to know:
• Up to 2 dogs under 20lbs with up-to-date vaccines are allowed with our pet fee of $60 plus tax for the first dog, and $60 plus tax for each additional dog. If you've added dogs to your reservation, one pet fee will be included and we will manually charge for additional dogs after booking. Dogs must be crated when unattended and cannot be left on the deck.
• There is a $27 damage protection waiver included in the base rate for this property. It covers guests for up to $500 in accidental damages, if guest reports damage that happens during their stay. Intentional damage, unreported damage, or anything exceeding $500 will be charged to the guest's payment method.
• Our cabin has a drip coffee maker and a Keurig. We provide both types of coffee.
• We do not provide firewood but it can be purchased at any local gas station or grocery store.
• We have a charcoal grill, but we do not provide charcoal.
• Check-in is at 4 p.m. and checkout is at 10 a.m. Early check-ins are possible, but subject to availability and a $25 per hour fee, rounded to the nearest hour. Late checkouts are generally not available, but if we are able to make an exception, the fee is $25 per hour.
• The address will be sent to you at the time of your booking, and your check-in information will be sent to you two days out from your stay.
