This cozy 2 bedroom house rests at the back of a cove on Badin Lake. Enjoy 8 miles of beautiful Badin Lake that connects to the Uwharrie National Forest. 1 hr from downtown Greensboro & Charlotte . A great spot to get away from it all or enjoy some of the best fishing in North Carolina. Tie your boat on the dock and adventure awaits!
A short drive to the boat put-in and even shorter drive on the water.
The House
This is a simple two bedroom house. If you are expecting a 5-star resort, this more than likely is not the place for you. We have all needed for a relaxation getaway; make a fire in front with a good book or jump in and enjoy great swimming or fishing right off the dock. The sunsets and views from outside are second to none.
There is only one A/C unit in main living area which is ample to heat / cool entire house. Fans are provided in each room. to maintain air temperature throughout house, keep bedroom doors open. Especially overnight
Boat trailers can go in driveway or in upper part under the pine trees.
If in possession of larger boat trailer (18ft+), I can walk you through best location to park.
We work tirelessly to make this the most comfortable place possible. While we know we aren't perfect, communication is appreciated to let us know how we can help make the most your stay(s) if possible.
Enjoy the peace and serenity of life on the lake while here. Nature abounds with ducks, heron, and cormorants being frequent visitors to the cove.
Guests will receive a code for the door prior to arrival. Note the door at the front of the house can be a bit tricky at times; lift up on the door to ensure the padlock will insert.
