Hotel Van der Valk Spier Dwingeloo is perfectly located for the business guest as well as the leisure guest. Relax amid natural and tranquil surroundings in this hotel that rests by the picturesque forests of the National Park Dwingelderveld. We have started the new construction of our hotel! There will be a beautiful tower with a view over the nature reserve, a larger wellness area with a new swimming pool and more hotel rooms. A beautiful metamorphosis awaits our hotel! But that's not all. A beautiful new restaurant, 8 multifunctional rooms, a hotel bar, bowling alleys and a nice children's play area are also planned. And the best part: during this renovation, which is expected to last about 3 years, we will remain open! You are very welcome in our hotel. We remain operational with 74 rooms and suites; this is the only part of the hotel that remains standing and is open, as well as our swimming pool and wellness. Naturally, we do our utmost to keep any inconvenience to our guests to a minimum. Our pop-up restaurant has been open since October 1, 2025 and is located in our parking lot. You are welcome here every day for a delicious breakfast, a tasty lunch, an extensive dinner or simply for a cup of coffee with fresh pastries. Taste and experience the atmosphere of the new hotel in our temporary restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel We are currently busy preparing for the new construction. Please note that construction work is already taking place. If you book an overnight stay in one of our renovated hotel rooms or luxury suites, you must walk outside from the pop-up to the hotel block for the reception, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
