Positive: We had a lovely time at Stubenhof - Höllkopf! The apartment is small but very practical for two. The balcony was amazing! Even when it rained we were able to sit outside and enjoy the view of the mountains. It was also nice that we could use the washing machine, as we had already traveled. There’s plenty of privacy, and a very roomy parking space. The bathroom and kitchen look very new. The communication with the owners before arrival was great. We asked if we could arrive a bit earlier than check in time and they helped us out perfectly. There’s a good bakery (Uwe Wölfle) in the village, as well as restaurants. We enjoyed dinner at Zum Hirschen (traditional German food). They are within walking distance, but the walk back is uphill which may not be suitable for everyone. It’s a great location to explore the area, to go on hikes and to visit Freiburg im Breisgau. We would definitely recommend the Stubenhof.
Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like.
