We highly recommend planning to watch the sunset from either the hot tub after a day of hiking, skiing or skating or pour yourself a drink and take in the sunset from the cozy lounge area on the top floor balcony off the master bedroom.

You will require a car to get to Akiskinook Resort and to venture around the Columbia Valley. It is located very conveniently just off of highway 93. The resort amenities are all within walking distance.
**Please note that a full set of stairs are required to access the unit & more once inside to each of the bedrooms and thus may not be a good fit for those with mobility issues.**

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. Booking midweek in June we pretty much had the resort to ourselves, it was quiet and peaceful with beautiful views, and yes amazing sunsets.One thing that should be noted is the steep hill and set of stairs from the parking lot to the condo, definitely not recommended for anyone with mobility issues or seniors. The property management team promised to post this in their description of the property.Slightly annoying were the many chipped plates, only three usable coffee cups, dirty deck, and the fuse panel hidden behind a picture frame (not in the closet as posted). Again the property management team needs to be a bit more diligent.
