Summary: We had a great stay here the first time about a month ago, this time was a little disappointing. Excluding the bartender Austin at Rules and Regs, and excluding the check in staff at the Gold Lounge, the service everywhere else was not great. The lobby bartenders/servers and the lady at Good Times was really not warm, welcoming or friendly at all. Almost like we were bothering them for being there. We also asked the concierge if they had some chips because they did the last time and she told me no but I could purchase snacks in my room. Minor thing but still off-putting. We had the complete opposite experience the first time we stayed here where the staff and service everywhere was excellent so just really a let down especially for the price point of a hotel like this. The property itself is beautiful and has great amenities and the gold experience is nice but we are reconsidering having this place as our go to Austin hotel.
