The house is in one of the best locations for hiking and mountain biking in the Eastern U.S. Renting guests have access to two private lakes for fishing, canoeing or kayaking in the valley below (you’ll enjoy a spectacular view of these lakes from the living room of the house!). Nearby towns of Davis and Thomas offer shopping, art galleries, and restaurants. There is plenty to do for a full week of vacation--but with multiple, wrap-around decks, abundant windows, and majestic views from almost every room in the house, your stay will feel like a vacation even if you don’t leave the property.

A private, gated community located in beautiful Canaan Valley. You have access to both Spruce Island Lake and Sand Run Lake in Timberline to canoe and fish at (swimming prohibited by the HOA) and access to the Dolly Sods Wilderness Area.
You will be staying in a private, gated community. Please have a list of everyone that will be staying in the house (first & last names) and vehicle information. A guard house form will be given to you at check-in for you to put the information on that you will give to the guards.
