Fabulous 100 year old, extremely private stone house perched on the edge of the Catskill Mountains above the hamlet of Palenville.
The house has been recently renovated and is wonderfully bright and eclectically furnished.
The living room has a large stone fireplace with wonderful high ceilings. This room looks out towards the Hudson Valley and connects with a huge screened in porch.
The property is bordered on 2 sides by state park with hiking trails just 100 feet from our drive.
The house is now being cleaned with UV lights and disinfectant.
We have extraordinary discounts on long term stays.
As of Sept. 1st, we are upgrading our wi-fi from satellite to high speed internet suitable for zoom meetings and internet schooling.
There is a large patio off the kitchen with both charcoal and gas grills and outdoor dining.
We are close to Kaaterskill Falls, Tannersville and the Wyndham and Hunter ski areas. Woodstock, Hudson, Catskill and Saugerties are all near by.
At the bottom off our hill is the Circle W cafe which has delicious food and coffee and is the heart of Palenville.
