3 Bedroom House in Colesville, Silver Spring
Though this is a five bedroom home, only three of the bedrooms are ready for visitors. I use the others for storage. (I'm working on getting those ready for guests.)Two bedrooms are on the top level of the house. One is a double and one has a single bed and a youth bed. There is another double bedroom halfway between the main level of the house and the top level. There is also a futon that opens to a double bed in the large room downstairs.
Many of our visitors have enjoyed sleeping in the sunroom, waking up to deer munching on the holly tree or even on some bushes right near the window.
There is a jetted tub in the bathroom upstairs.
The kitchen is large and has everything you should need for your stay: refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, toaster, toaster oven, electric kettle, dishes, flatware, serving platters, pots and pans, baking supplies, and I generally have some cooking staples around such as seasonings, sugar, sweeteners, flour, pasta, dry beans, vegetable oil, and olive oil. The coffee nook has a drip coffee maker, an espresso machine, a coffee bean grinder, coffee beans, and a variety of tea.
There is a television in the playroom as well as an X-box 360 and Playstation 2 and a bunch of games for both. I also have a large selection of board games, toys, puzzles and books for all ages.
The large capacity washer and dryer are available for your use with laundry supplies in the pedestal drawer below.
The WiFi code along with metro maps and timetables are on the visitor bulletin board upstairs.
There is plenty of driveway and street parking.
